MTB training and hiking destinations
The Rowerowy Park Umiejętności at Słoneczna Polana is a technical MTB skills course. Its two circuits have different difficulty levels, where you can practise riding over obstacles and improve your riding skills. The course is therefore designed for focused practice.
The black hiking trail to Chełmiec starts at the mineral water pump room. Its start and destination are clearly specified: the trail begins at the pump room and leads to Chełmiec. In contrast to riding skills training, the focus here is on a hike with a specific destination. This gives you a clear choice when planning your day: would you rather focus on cycling skills or on a hike?
Park and viewpoints
Park Szwedzki has two ponds with fountains and a sensory path. Alongside the water features, the path adds its own distinctive touch: its name refers to perception, while the ponds and fountains shape the park. In this way, the park complements the active pursuits with another way to spend time outdoors.
The observation tower on Góra Parkowa stands on the mountain, also known as Wzgórze Gedymina, which reaches 532 m above sea level. The tower can be reached via blue, green and black hiking trails. There is also an observation terrace at the top of Wieża Anny, offering panoramic views of Bad Salzbrunn and the surrounding area. While the elevation and trail colours are specified for the observation tower on Góra Parkowa, the focus at Wieża Anny is on the terrace and its views of the town and surrounding area.
Culture and historical dates
Teatr Zdrojowy im. Henryka Wieniawskiego hosts numerous cultural events. One of the most important is the Międzynarodowy Festiwal Henryka Wieniawskiego, which has been held regularly in June since 1966.
