Piechowice: Waterfall, glacial cirques and granite

Piechowice combines a striking waterfall with cirques shaped by the Ice Age, granite rocks and specific routes. Wodospad Szklarki waterfall is 13.3 metres high and lies within the city limits of Piechowice. These named points describe a specific route, making the hike a distinct option alongside exploring the cirques.

Bobrowe Skały is an eight-metre-high rock formation with three climbing routes of varying difficulty. One of the routes has fixed protection points. The specific route, rather than just the name of the rock formation, is therefore important when assessing this climbing option.

Pasmo Rowerowe Olbrzymy comprises challenging one-way mountain bike trails in the municipalities of Jelenia Góra, Piechowice and Podgórzyn. It is intended for advanced and professional mountain bikers. The western Piechowice loop runs between Michałowice, Piechowice and Jagniątków and is 19.5 kilometres long. These details serve different purposes when choosing a route: for the MTB trail network, the difficulty and one-way layout are key, while the western loop has a specifically named route and length.
