Siepraw: Rock, Park and Skiing

Siepraw combines nature, outdoor activities and culture with several distinctive features. Siepraw’s history can also be explored through different places and themes. The wooden filial church of St. Martin dates from the first half of the 17th century. The parish church, meanwhile, is associated with the veneration of Blessed Aniela Salawa: on 19 March 2004, it was elevated to her sanctuary, intended as a special place for prayers for her canonisation. Four generations of her countrymen worked to spread the cult; since the sanctuary was established, this has taken place in Siepraw. The older wooden church and the history of the sanctuary thus represent two distinct cultural points of interest.

Another local speciality is the production of brushes and brooms, for which Siepraw is known. This craft developed during the interwar period as an additional source of income.
