One notable historic building is the synagogue in Ostrów Wielkopolski. It was built between 1857 and 1860 in the former Jewish quarter. Its façade and interior decorations are inspired by the Moorish style. The restored synagogue opened for cultural use as “Forum Synagoga” on 6 October 2011. Its construction period, former location in the district and design give the site several historical and architectural dimensions.

The Co-Cathedral complex, in turn, holds significant historical value for the city's history. Piaski: leisure by the water and in the parks
In the north of Ostrów Wielkopolski, the Piaski sports and leisure centre is situated by a body of water; the grounds include a sandy beach. Piaski-Szczygliczka Adventure Park also has three courses of varying difficulty. Together, they are more than 500 metres long. The two parks offer different experiences: Piaski focuses on the water, beach and promenade, while the central city park combines paths, a pond and events. The cycling network in Ostrów Wielkopolski is also being systematically expanded.
A tourist miniature railway runs through Piaski and the streets of Ostrów Wielkopolski during the summer season. During the school year, it runs between Piaski and the educational trail of the municipal waste management company ZOiGO MZO S.A. on ul. Staroprzygodzka. The activities include “Ekopodróże” (Eco Journeys), where participants learn about the flora and fauna of Piaski.
