St. Barbara’s Church and its architecture
The parish church of St. Barbara in Gryżyna was built in 1888 in the Neo-Gothic style, based on a design by Alexis Langer of Wrocław. Its brick tower is 45 m high. Manor park and icehouse

Church ruins and historic traces
About 1.5 km southwest of the built-up area of Gryżyna lie the ruins of St. Martin’s Church. The church was built in the late 13th century and survives today as a permanent ruin. Partially preserved perimeter walls reach up to 7 m in height. The ruins therefore provide a significantly older historical reference than the parish church of St. Barbara, built in 1888.
