Churches, castles and history
Koło is home to a Gothic parish church dating from around the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries. The Bernardine church and monastery there are late Baroque, with Rococo interiors. Museums and other places
The collection at the Museum of Ceramic Techniques in Koło consists mainly of objects from the Koło faience factory. Museum events offer the opportunity for direct contact with ceramic products. The Kulmhof Museum in Chełmno is open on its premises Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed on Mondays. An English-language guided tour service is available for visitors from abroad, including organised groups of Israeli young people. Tours must be booked at least three days in advance.
