The Dubingiai Bridge crosses Lake Asveja and is one of the few wooden bridges still preserved in Lithuania. After its reconstruction, the Asveja Regional Park Visitor Centre and Directorate moved into the former Dubingiai tavern in 2008. St George’s Church and Its Ensemble

St George’s Church was built on the site of the old church and is similar in size to its predecessor. Its floor plan is cruciform. Glued laminated timber and glass were used in its construction; the roof and walls are covered with special panels modelled on traditional roof shingles. The church can therefore be described in terms of both its shape and its materials.

The ensemble also includes an old bell tower preserved at one corner of the churchyard, a stone wall and a restored gate. The new church building and these features provide different points of interest within the same ensemble: the architecture of St George’s Church meets older traces in the churchyard.
