The Vijurkai geomorphological reserve protects a section of the upper Dubysa Valley with the most prominent erosional hill on the right bank of the Dubysa. The reserve also includes the Sventupis Canyon Valley. The landscape at the confluence of the Dubysa and Sventupis rivers is also protected.

Vijurkų regykla is included in the Lithuanian list of valuable viewpoints for panoramic landscapes.
