The “San Giorgio tra vigne, ulivi e iris” route is 7.35 km long, has a positive elevation gain of 440 m and takes approximately two hours. It begins at the car park near the Monumento ai caduti di San Giorgio Martire on Via Perlena. Anyone incorporating the walk into their personal daily schedule can use the car park at the starting point and the approximate duration as a time guide for planning the walk during the day. The 440 metres of elevation gain make climbs an integral part of the route.

The route offers views of the Chiavone Nero valley and the hilly landscapes, mostly covered with vineyards, on the Breganze side and the San Giorgio side. The trail combines the walk with views across the valley and hills.

The Chiesa Arcipretale di San Giorgio, Martire, is located at Via Perlena 81 in Fara Vicentino. The Oratorio Nostra Signora del Sacro Cuore di Gesù is located on Via Laverda in Fara Vicentino. Via Perlena thus connects the start of the route with a church address: the car park is near the Monumento ai caduti di San Giorgio Martire, while the Chiesa Arcipretale is located on the same street at number 81.

The Chiesa di San Giorgio has been documented since 1297; the new church was already in use in 1805.

The Sagra Patronale di San Giorgio takes place every year on 23 April and is organised by the local Gruppo Alpini with the support of the Pro Loco di Fara Vicentino. The Sagra concludes with a traditional concert by the Corpo Bandistico di San Giorgio.

Today, all objects bearing the name Lunardon are made on site in San Giorgio Di Perlena.
