Salizzole is located in the Veronese lowlands between the Tartaro and Menago rivers. Its settlement history begins after the year 1000; the village is first mentioned in a document dating from 1144, issued by Emperor Conrad III. Beltramini di Salizzole is located in the Castello Scaligero. Festivals, theatre and cycling

The Sagra di Santa Eurosia and the Mostra mercato dell’Artigianato take place in Piazza Castello around the first Sunday in June, from Friday until the following Tuesday.
