Villa Camerini Bertelè was built around the middle of the 18th century. The three-storey complex with two side towers follows the design principles of Emilian-Este military architecture. The churches also tell the story of different construction phases: Santo Stefano Papa e Martire was built between 1791 and 1799 on the site of three earlier churches. It also preserves the only surviving evidence of frescoes by the Bolognese painter Antonio Maria Nardi; the frescoes were created in 1933 and largely destroyed during the Second World War.

The Church of San Genesio was rebuilt and enlarged in 1670 on the orders of the Abbot of Pomposa. The Oratorio di San Genesio is located in the village of San Genasio. It preserves a miraculous image of the Virgin Mary that has been venerated for centuries.
