The Oratorio di Sant’Anna in Spessa was built in 1492 and comprehensively restored more recently. The Church of Santa Maria Assunta contains an altarpiece depicting the Virgin Mary assumed into heaven, created by the Vicentine painter Clemente Muzzi. The church’s interior façade also features two paintings from 1921 by Vittorio Pupin. San Bernardino in Camazzole was established as a curacy in 1452 and later expanded and restored, in 1668 and 1754.

The Barchesse di Villa Spessa are an architectural complex dating from the third quarter of the 16th century to the 18th century. In 1875, Gerolamo Lanaro founded Carmignano Di Brenta’s first paper mill. The historic Arzeron della Regina route led from Carmignano Di Brenta towards Padua and was raised above ground level to protect the plain from flooding by the river.

Cycling Tours and Greenways

The short cycling loop from Carmignano Di Brenta is 21.9 km long, runs mostly along paved cycle paths and has an elevation difference of approximately 40 m. The route follows the river and crosses the Ponte di Carturo. Bosco Limite also has an educational trail, as well as paths suitable for walking, cycling and horseback riding.
