Pontassieve: Culture, Trails and Wine Tradition

For longer excursions, you can explore the approximately 172-kilometre Anello del Rinascimento from Pontassieve. It runs in 16 stages around Florence and can be travelled on foot or by bicycle. In addition, a hiking trail just over 13 kilometres long leads from Santa Brigida to Pontassieve. The different lengths and stages help you distinguish between an extended tour and a clearly defined hiking route when planning your trip.
Valdisieve Wine Tradition
The Toscanello d’Oro was established in 1969 to promote the region's wine traditions and wine products, and brings the producers of Valdisieve to the town's squares.
