The Castello di Montefioralle is still preserved within its original circuit of walls. In the Middle Ages, it was one of the most important military and administrative centres in the entire valley. The Chiesa di Santo Stefano is located in the highest part of the settlement. Its interior has the form attributed to the period between the 17th and 18th centuries and was further altered by renovations in the 19th century.
