Every year on 15 August, the statue of Maria Assunta is taken by motorboats along the western and eastern sections of the beach in Tre Fontane. During the Imbarco della Madonna in Tre Fontane, the statue of the Madonna is carried in a procession to the beach and then taken out to sea.
