During the Processione di San Giuseppe, the statue is carried through Spadafora, turned towards the sea for the blessing, and then returned to the Chiesa di San Giuseppe.

Grangiara adds a smaller-scale district shaped by agriculture to the picture. The Borgo di Grangiara is located approximately 1,500 metres from the centre of Spadafora, can be reached on foot and by car, and is considered to be publicly accessible around the clock. Olive oil, wine and citrus fruits, especially lemons, are produced there agriculturally.
