Two routes of different lengths are central to days spent mountain biking. The circular route “Grotta Gallo bianco e Grotta Intraleo da Calcerana-Marina” is 14.30 km long. On this route, the trail passes Grotta Gallo bianco at kilometre 6.2. The cave lies along the route and can be included as an intermediate destination in the day’s cycling plans. Compared with the second route, which is 8.86 km long, the circular route covers the longer distance.

A second option is the mountain bike route “Piano Fiera - Pagghiaru - Grotta di Monte Minardo - Sacro Cuore”. It is 8.86 km long and leads from Calcerana-Marina to Sacro Cuore. Its destination at Sacro Cuore gives this route a different course from the circular route. When planning a day of cycling, the two distances can represent different time frames without requiring any further route characteristics.

Another Trail Section at Monte Minardo

In addition, a nearly flat connection of approximately 3,400 m runs through the wider surrounding area along a forest road on the eastern side of Monte Minardo. It connects trails 708 and 710. Its nearly flat course and approximate length make the forest road an independent section to consider when planning a day in the landscape. The approximate distance can be incorporated into the day’s plans if a nearly flat section is intended.
