Accommodation in Porto Cervo
Porto Cervo is situated on the waterfront and combines its harbour, local history, art and beach scenery in a clearly defined townscape. Between Marina Nuova and Porto Vecchio, the Marina di Porto Cervo has more than 700 berths. The water is not merely a backdrop, but the area where berths, harbour development and sailing come together.

Marina and the History of the Harbour
The old harbour of Porto Cervo dates back to the 1960s. Construction work on the modern Marina di Porto Cervo began in the 1980s. The old harbour and the modern marina therefore represent two different phases in the history of the harbour.
The harbour of Porto Cervo is home to the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. It organises international regattas for superyachts, maxi yachts and One Design class boats. Alongside its berths, the regattas give the harbour a clear connection to international sailing. At the waterfront, berths, the Yacht Club and international regattas come together. For sailing enthusiasts, the harbour is therefore a distinct focal point of the town.
Chiesa Stella Maris and Art
The Chiesa Stella Maris in Porto Cervo was designed by the architect Michele Busiri Vici and consecrated in 1968. Its design and the year of its consecration give the church its own historical character within the town.
The Chiesa Stella Maris houses a painting of Our Lady of Sorrows created by El Greco in the 16th century. For those interested in culture, the church therefore combines architectural history with a single painting. The work represents a different period from the consecration of the church in 1968. The church interior is thus both a building and the setting for a single work of art.
Promenade, Town Centre and Grande Pevero
Since 2008, the Promenade du Port has welcomed thousands of tourists in the heart of Porto Cervo. Waterfront Costa Smeralda® is located in Porto Vecchio.
Porto Cervo town centre is home to fashion boutiques and jewellery shops featuring creations by local designers and artisans. Fashion, jewellery, design and local craftsmanship therefore shape a stroll through the town centre. This gives the centre a different character from the harbour with its Yacht Club and regattas.
In the immediate vicinity of Porto Cervo lies Grande Pevero, an approximately 300-metre-long beach bordered by pale granite rocks and Mediterranean vegetation. The pale granite rocks and Mediterranean vegetation stand directly beside the beach, creating a scenic counterpoint to the harbour. The beach is thus framed within Porto Cervo’s coastal landscape by stone and lush Mediterranean vegetation.
