At the same time, the apse, which was completely destroyed during the 17th-century renovations, is part of the building's eventful history. Restoration of the frescoes in the central nave and the side aisles was completed in 2004.
Behind the parish church, the Oratorio di San Giacomo stands on a small hill surrounded by vineyards and flower-filled meadows. The oratory was probably built in the second half of the 17th century; at least inside, it displays the typical Baroque style. The surrounding districts also deserve attention: they are considered examples of vernacular architecture using Beola and Serizzo stone.
Another notable historic destination is the Torre di Creggio, a signal tower dating from the 13th century. The Mulini del Rio Graglia consist of six small stone mills arranged in a row along the Rio Graglia and visible from both the railway and the road. The former mill area was enhanced through the “Il ciclo della segale” project. The buildings, milling mechanisms and water channel were reconstructed, while the bridge and votive chapels were restored.

The Sagra del Fungo is an annual September festival in Trontano dedicated to the porcini mushroom. Traditional dishes include mushroom risotto and the distinctive pastry “credenzign”, prepared in Trontano's old ovens.
