In the apse of the Oratorio di San Rocco, Christ Pantocrator is depicted between two music-making angels.
The Oratorio di Santa Maria di Campagna stands in the cemetery east of Barengo's built-up area. It preserves an important fresco cycle executed between 1546 and 1553, most of it by Johannes de Rumo from Oleggio. In the area known as “Pizolo,” a small chapel was first mentioned in the visitation records of Bishop Taverna.
