Historic buildings and art

The neoclassical Chiesa di San Giovanni in Lanerio contains the San Carlo Borromeo chapel. According to local tradition, the nobleman Antonio Pelletta commissioned the original building of the Baroque Chiesa di San Siro in 1311, on the condition that the archpriests appointed to it should come exclusively from Nizza Monferrato.

The Gipsoteca Claudia Formica preserves several works by the sculptor Claudia Formica. The Art’900 gallery displays 100 works by contemporary artists, including paintings, drawings and sculptures. The Sug@R(T) House is a corporate documentation centre that connects sugar with education, culture, information, customs and art, and presents the history and development of sugar packaging. Routes, fairs and getting there

The Città di Nizza Monferrato municipal cycle and pedestrian path connects Piazza Garibaldi with Via Don Celi. The cycle path to which this route connects links Nizza Monferrato, Calamandrana and Canelli.
