Cesano Boscone between nature and culture

Cesano Boscone combines nature observation, trails and architectural history. Parco Natura and Bosco dell'acqua represent two landscape themes, while the Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista and Villa Marazzi, Lattuada provide architectural and historical points of reference. Nature and trails

Parco Natura covers 18 hectares and is characterised by groups of trees, rows of trees, irrigated meadows and wetlands. These wetlands are connected to historic fontanili. Architectural history and architecture

The Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista has a two-storey neoclassical façade articulated by two pairs of pilasters. Its architectural history includes an ancient baptistery church, a first extension and a three-aisled collegiate church. There are also at least three baptisteries and several tombs.
