If you are considering Pusiano as a holiday destination, the town combines Lake Pusiano with historic culture and a wide range of opportunities for walks, hikes and bike rides. A holiday apartment in Pusiano is therefore a starting point for many different kinds of holiday days: By the water, the focus is on the landscape and excursions, while churches, residences and art shape the town’s cultural character.

Lakeside, Promenade and Electric Boat

Lake Pusiano is part of Parco Valle Lambro. The privately owned Isola dei Cipressi lies in the lake, while the Lungolago di Pusiano on Via Mazzini offers a lakeside promenade for walks and outdoor activities. From there, you can enjoy panoramic views of Lake Pusiano. For a special excursion, trips on the “Vago Eupili” electric boat are available on the lake. This allows you to combine peaceful moments by the shore with an outing on the water.

Historic Town Centre with Distinctive Buildings

In Pusiano’s historic town centre stands the parish church of Santa Maria Nascente, dating from 1567. The Oratorio dei Santi Francesco e Damiano, dating from 1709, is also part of the town centre. Palazzo Beauharnais is a representative residence dating from the period between the 15th and 19th centuries. Palazzo Carpani Beauharnais, with its large halls and distinctive wooden ceilings, provides an additional impression of historic interior architecture.

Experience Segantini and Culture

Spazio Segantini is a permanent exhibition space dedicated to the work of Giovanni Segantini. Along the Percorso Segantini, you will encounter 13 reproductions of original works by Giovanni Segantini. For groups of ten or more, guided tours of the Percorso Segantini and historically and culturally interesting sites in Pusiano are organised in the morning and afternoon by reservation. The former Cava di Pusiano is also part of the town’s cultural history: it has been converted into a venue for numerous musical, theatrical, cultural and entertainment events.

Hiking and Cycling around Pusiano

Above Pusiano lies the Santuario della Madonna della Neve, a sanctuary dating from the 16th century. It can be reached on foot from the centre of Pusiano in about 20 minutes. The sanctuary is situated in a clearing and, in good weather, offers views across the lake over Brianza as far as Milan. Paths for hikes through nature also begin behind Pusiano. The town is also a starting point for bike rides and other activities on two wheels.

Choose the Right Holiday Apartment in Pusiano

When choosing your accommodation, you can therefore first consider which aspects of Pusiano should shape your holiday. Those who prefer the lake and walks can focus on the Lungolago; those who want to combine culture and art can consider the historic town centre, Spazio Segantini and the Percorso Segantini. For active days, the sanctuary, paths through nature and bike rides are on the programme. These different priorities can help you choose a holiday apartment or holiday home in Pusiano that suits your planned daily activities.
