San Bartolomeo and Festivals in Vesio

San Bartolomeo is the parish church of Vesio and dates from the second half of the 18th century. The high altar features a painting of Saint Bartholomew and Saint Roch. The church was completed in 1768 with the construction of an organ by the Venetian organ builder Gaetano Callido. The hike to Malga Lorina is an eight-hour circular route through the forest managed by the western Gardesana Regional Forestry Authority in Parco Alto Garda Bresciano. It runs mostly through beech, hornbeam, ash and maple trees, follows and crosses a stream several times, and passes small waterfalls and several pools. The Corna-Vecchia Trail joins Route 106 after about one hour; its access point is above Vesio, near the road to Passo Nota.

The “Bike Tour - Passo Nota dagli Alpini” cycle tour begins and ends in Vesio, in the Pertica district. The Bondo Valley is located nearby and was designated a nature reserve in 1980.
