The Chiesa di San Zenone is a late Baroque parish church in Osio Sotto, dating from 1742 to 1758. Its design and the statue on the façade are attributed to Antonio Maria Pirovano. Its furnishings include marble statues, paintings by Federico Ferrario, Giovanni Raggi and Gioacchino Manzoni, as well as a Serassi organ from 1778 bearing the designation “Opus 107”. The Museo Ruralia preserves a collection of objects from the first sixty years of the 20th century and provides insights into local life, work traditions, celebrations and significant events of that period. The religious buildings around San Donato also reveal different historical layers. The Chiesa di San Donato is documented by a land register entry dated 10 April 1443; the associated chapel was probably built between the 14th and 15th centuries. The Santuario di San Donato was enlarged into a building with a Latin-cross floor plan and decorated with stucco, frescoes and paintings, including two works by Abramo Spinelli. The Chiesetta di San Giorgio may date from the 14th century or, more probably, go back as far as the 11th century.
