Religious sites with a history of their own

The Santuario di Lovere is dedicated to Christ, King of Virgins, and is associated with the beginning of the human and spiritual journey of Bartolomea Capitanio and Vincenza Gerosa in Lovere. The relics of Bartolomea Capitanio and Vincenza Gerosa are venerated in the side apses of the Santuario delle Sante loveresi. The Santuario delle Sante loveresi was consecrated on 1 October 1938 and dedicated to Christ, King of Virgins; the dedication was made in honour of the founders.
