At the center of the borgo stands the Church of Santi Pietro e Paolo. Its floor plan is shaped like a Latin cross, with a broad central nave, small side chapels on both sides, a short transept, a dome and a semicircular apse. The church has been documented since 1499; the pastoral visitations of 1550 and 1584 describe it as a parish church. In May 1775, it was consecrated by Paolino Pace, the Bishop of Vico Equense. The church is also associated with a congregation founded in 1744. Another religious destination is Santa Maria delle Grazie, at the most panoramic point of the Montechiaro promontory.
