Holiday apartment in Ostuni between Città Bianca and the coast
The historic centre of Ostuni, known as Città Bianca, consists of a labyrinth of picturesque lanes and whitewashed houses on a hill with panoramic views. The hilltop setting of the centre and the coastal location of Ostuni mare represent two distinct townscapes.
Ostuni mare, the coastal area of the municipality of Ostuni, lies on the Adriatic coast. The coastline stretches for almost 20 kilometres and is characterised above all by an unspoilt coast with Mediterranean scrub, dunes and nature reserves. The beaches Spiaggia di Monticelli, Spiaggia Rosa Marina and Spiaggia Lido Tiziana are located in the area around Ostuni. At Torre Pozzella, you can enter the water from large rocks by the sea or from small beaches, and observe crabs, octopuses and small fish among the rocks. When planning a coastal visit to Ostuni, beach resorts and wildlife observation among the rocks stand alongside one another as distinct focal points.
