Location and History
Egyházasrádóc and its church were first mentioned in official records in 1221 under the name “Ecclesia S. Georgii de Radocz”. The listed Roman Catholic church dedicated to the Apostle Saint Andrew was built in the 13th century.
Churches and Memorial Sites
The Reformed Church of Egyházasrádóc dates from the 17th century. It was remodelled in the Baroque style in 1787; in 1813, a remodelling in the Classicist style gave it its present form.
The memorial to those who fell in the First and Second World Wars in Egyházasrádóc was erected in 1991 in their memory. The statue of Saint Stephen was created by the sculptor József Marosits; the municipality of Egyházasrádóc erected it in 2000 on the occasion of the millennium.
The Rosner family’s castle in Kissároslak was built in 1894 and is situated in the midst of a small English landscape park.
