In the wider regional surroundings of Gyöngösfalu lies Lockenhaus Castle. Pöse once had a medieval Church of St. Martin; some of its stone sculptures have been preserved in the newer church. Pöse also has a neo-Gothic parish church of St. Martin built in 1905.
Gyöngyösfalu is served by a railway stop on the Szombathely–Kőszeg railway line. The station is located on the eastern edge of the center next to Main Road 87.
