Accommodation in Tát
The Tát archipelago consists of three larger islands – Táti-sziget, Nyáras-sziget and Körtvélyes-sziget – as well as the shifting small island of Csitrisziget. All the islands are separated from the mainland by the Kis-Duna. The section of the Danube at the Táti-szigetek was part of the Roman Limes between AD 340 and 390.

Landscape

Culture and history
The exhibition at the Táti Falumúzeum and Local History Collection can be visited free of charge by appointment by telephone. The Mogyorósbányai úti kápolna is a chapel built in 1818. There is a roof turret above its northern façade; towards the southern façade, the gable roof is hipped.
On the banks of the Kis-Duna in Tát stands Ister-pár by Szervátiusz Tibor, one of the artist's largest sculptures in Hungary. Referring to Mesopotamian Sumerian mythology and symbolism, Szervátiusz Tibor's white limestone sculpture depicts Dumuzi, the shepherd king, and Istar-Iszter.
The Táti Mindenszentek Parish Church dates back to the Middle Ages, is dedicated to Saint George, and was restored in its present form in 1860.
Events
Since 2000, the multi-day cultural event series Táti Pünkösdi Napok has been held in Tát every year at Pentecost. The programme includes performances and concerts, dance shows, exhibitions, and children's and sports programmes.

Getting there
Tát has a railway halt on the Esztergom–Almásfüzitő branch line. In Tát, a minor road branches off from Main Road 10 towards Esztergom and the Danube Bend region. The town is easily accessible by public transport.
