According to local tradition, the acorns of the Aranyosi tölgyfák were planted in the sand in the 1850s; today, 11 pedunculate oaks (Quercus robur) remain. The Aranyosi tölgyfák are located southwest of the spa town of Cserkeszőlő and can be reached by bicycle in about 15 minutes.
Culture
The Baghy-Szinyei Merse Kúria in Cserkeszőlő-Tópartpuszta originated from an administrator’s residence built in the 19th century and was later expanded after Kandó Irén married Szinyei Merse Félix. The wine cellar of the Baghy-Szinyei Merse Kúria has been a listed monument since 1983.
The Baghy-Szinyei Merse Kúria has permanent and temporary exhibitions. At the show kitchen, visitors can enjoy various local wines, borkocsonya made from them, spirits, soft drinks, and coffee.

At the Cserkeszőlői Gyermek Autós Közlekedési Park, the KRESZ Park, children learn the rules of the road through play. After a brief introduction and a practice lap, children receive a personalized plastic driving licence with a photo at the KRESZ Park, valid for two years for the park’s Class A vehicles.
