Culture and History

The Pusztatemplom church ruins are located southwest of Csabdi village centre, on the side of a range of hills next to the road to Nagyegyháza, about 250 metres from the road.

Tábor-hegy and Elizabeth Lookout are located in the wider region around Csabdi.

The Romanesque church ruins in Csabdi were probably built in the early 13th century, rebuilt later in that century and abandoned after being destroyed in the 16th century.

The remains of Vasztilvár are located a few hundred metres from the public road; dense undergrowth and the lack of paths make them difficult to find.
