The building’s unusual form can therefore be understood not just by the number of niches, but also by their arrangement and the difference between the eastern niche and the others.

Another trace of local history leads to the Kiszombor Local History Collection: the collection of ethnographic objects for it began in 1982. This provides a concrete historical starting point for local collecting alongside the architecture. The corn maze event listed for Kiszombor in 2026 added a very different element.
