Aberfoyle Old Parish Church was built in 1744. The church and its adjoining cemetery contain several gravestones, including that of Reverend Robert Kirk. Route 4: Easter Park/Fairy Knowe passes the old church and the cemetery where Reverend Robert Kirk is buried. The church is also associated with the legend that Reverend Robert Kirk disappeared on Doon Hill after fairies captured his spirit.
