Hammoor: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Hammoor is part of several designated landscape areas. Nördlich Tiergarten is a 51-hectare landscape area extending across Ahrensburg and Hammoor. Hammoor shares the 49-hectare Rehbrook forest area with Lasbek and Tremsbüttel. The 159-hectare Beimoor/Forsttiergarten forest area encompasses Hammoor, Ahrensburg, Großhansdorf, and Todendorf. Hammoor also includes a former raised bog landscape with diverse secondary vegetation in a structured, partly extensively used grassland depression.
Nature
Rehbrook is described as a near-natural forest on a historic forest site, with a topographically shaped mosaic of forest communities and a habitat for the great crested newt. Beimoor/Forsttiergarten is described as an area with relatively near-natural wet forests of various types. Nördlich Tiergarten is described as a landscape area with predominantly acidic forests, beech forests, and shallow excavated ponds bordered by wet forests as well as alder-ash forests.
