Nottfeld: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

Christianslyst was formerly a royal hunting estate. Most of the older buildings were replaced by the present complex in 1969–1970; the current building at Christianslyst was constructed in 1969.

Getting There

The regional train on the Flensburg–Kiel route runs hourly and stops at Süderbrarup station. From there, bus routes 605 and 610 run to Nottfeld. From the Christianslust–Nottfeld stop, a 500-metre footpath leads to Christianslyst.

Activities

Christianslyst primarily accommodates larger groups and has 140 beds as well as facilities for classes, workshops and lectures. There are also outdoor sports areas for football, handball, volleyball, beach volleyball and pétanque, as well as a heated swimming pool. Walks and cycling tours are possible in the area around Christianslyst; bicycle rental can be arranged through the staff at Christianslyst. Christianslyst also offers canoe rental for tours on the Schlei.

Routes

Near Nottfeld, the route leaves the path and leads through the Peters and Kuhholz woodland areas. The northern continuation of the route passes the Thorsberger Moor. It leads to Norderbrarup and its St. Mary's Church and passes the ring-shaped burial mound of Kummerhy.
