Tetenhusen: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Tetenhusen Moor is a 205-hectare nature reserve in the river landscape of the Eider, Treene and Sorge rivers. It has been protected since 1932 and is part of the Natura 2000 network.

Nature

The Tetenhusen school forest is freely accessible. A roughly two-kilometre-long educational trail runs through a five-hectare woodland area and features nature information boards, a plant garden, opportunities for picnicking or barbecuing, and insect hotels.

There is a canoe launch point located directly near the Tetenhusen school forest.

Tetenhusen Moor provides a habitat where cranes can raise their young with little disturbance. Guided visits through the moor are offered by the Kropp Forestry Office by prior arrangement.
