Kosel: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

A historic walking and cycling trail leads through Kosel and its surrounding area. From a central village viewpoint, visitors can see the pastor’s widow’s house, the vicarage, the old forge, Koseler Hof and the former Kroymann School. Along the cycling and hiking trails, ten information boards also provide information about the history of the municipality.

Bohnert is associated with the summer open-air arts and cultural event „Under the Sky of Bohnert“.

Nature

Kosel is situated in a hilly landscape strongly shaped by glacial processes. The municipality includes four inland lakes with a total area of more than 50 hectares. In addition, there are around 20 kilometres of shoreline along the Schlei.

Things to Do

Some of the walking and cycling trails are also suitable for Nordic walking. One hiking trail follows the steep edge of the Großer Breite. The fishing-net hoist in Kosel or Missunde is located at the narrowest point of the Schlei and is described as a rest area during a cycling tour crossing the Schlei.

The Missunde ferry runs between Missunde in Kosel and Brodersby, connecting the Angeln and Schwansen parts of the region. It serves pedestrians, bicycles and cars.
