The historic Kletkamp estate was originally a Renaissance moated castle; the surviving historic complex includes the gatehouse and part of the former moat. The core of the manor house is a two-storey half-timbered twin house dating from 1547, described as the oldest manor house in Schleswig-Holstein; its projecting front section dates from 1703.
