Seeth preserves three historic northern German house types: the Low German hall house, the Jutish cross-passage house, and a Haubarg representing Frisian Gulf houses. Around 82 houses date from before the 19th century; 50 of them still have fully or partially thatched roofs, and 11 of these houses are protected as listed buildings.
Culture
The oldest surviving bell is located in the surrounding landscape. Its inscription reads: “Hans Volkerts. Burfagt Anno 1687”.
The traditional thatched Stapelholm Heimatkrog is a place to take a break in Seeth. Near Seeth, the Viking-Frisian Trail leads towards Friedrichstadt to the Mildterhof, described as a farm café with hay hostel accommodation.
