Neumünster: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Neumünster is located in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein. Railway lines from Hamburg to Kiel and Flensburg run through the city. The A7 crosses Neumünster and meets a road toward Segeberg; this provides connections between Dithmarschen and Holstein. Neumünster is also described as a central transport hub in northern Germany.

Culture

Nature

The Dosenmoor nature reserve is the largest and best-preserved raised bog in Schleswig-Holstein. It covers 521 hectares and retains its full original extent. In the northern part, there are circular trails and benches, as well as an educational trail that runs along a boardwalk.

Activities

At Lake Einfeld, there is an eight-kilometre circular route for hiking, jogging, Nordic walking and cycling. The beach on the eastern shore of Lake Einfeld offers swimming and beach volleyball. The Ochsenweg in Neumünster is now used mainly by hikers and cyclists.

Events

The Holstenhallen provide up to 14,000 square metres of contiguous usable and exhibition space. International equestrian events and NordBau take place there.
