The settlement of Klempau developed from the former Klempau farm, which was initially a ducal and later a district-owned estate. In 1938, the estate was divided into ten settler holdings along Sarauer Straße and Tannenweg.

The Am Teich village restaurant attracts numerous guests from the surrounding area. A garden at Dorfstraße 16 is open seasonally from April to September on Friday afternoons for interested visitors.

Geographical location
