Linden: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Culture

The megalithic tomb is located in a restored burial mound and is classified among the Nordic passage graves with an oval ground plan. It contains a reconstructed, accessible Neolithic passage grave listed as a protected cultural monument. The passage grave is signposted and has a small car park and a picnic shelter for visitors.

The passage is laid out transversely to the chamber. The chamber may still have a floor paved with rounded stones.

Nature

Linden is included in the Broklandsau Lowlands landscape conservation area. The landscape conservation area covers approximately 1,841 hectares.

Cycling

The Dithmarschen cycling tour “Bats and Kingfishers” leads through the Eider lowlands, moors, meadows and forests and includes a visit to an old stone-chamber tomb in Linden. The Stork Adventure Route is signposted.

The Dithmarschen Route is a 181.15-kilometre circular cycling route.
