Bicycles can be rented at the ALL-on-SEA Camp & Sport Resort on Lake Schladitz. An e-bike charging station is available next to the LEVANTE restaurant at Schladitz Bay. Schladitz Bay is approximately 2.5 kilometres on foot from Rackwitz railway station.

Cuisine

At the Landgasthof Podelwitz, the cuisine ranges from hearty to light Mediterranean dishes. Homemade pasta specialities are prepared there. The country inn also processes lambs, chickens, geese and ducks from its own breeding. The establishment offers bookable guest accommodation with 15 beds.

Culture

Johann Sebastian Bach personally inspected the Baroque organ in Zschortau village church. He judged it to be „skilful, diligently made and well constructed“.

The historic church buildings in Podelwitz are presented as worthwhile destinations. The village church in Podelwitz has an organ by Johann-Gottlob Mende.

Zschortau Castle is named as a worthwhile destination. Rackwitz Town Hall is also named as a worthwhile destination. Bunte Bühne Biesen organises various cultural events.
