The church in Rossau is a Romanesque hall church dating from the 12th or 13th century. It has a winged altar from 1521, a Gothic roof turret from 1529, and an organ built between 1660 and 1670, which is described as one of the oldest in Saxony. The church complex also includes a protected churchyard.

When hiking in the Zschopau Valley, the route can include shallow sections of the river, interesting flora and pastureland, the Krumbach ferry, as well as a continuation towards Biensdorf and the suspension bridge near Sachsenburg.
