In its historic town center, Rechenberg-Bienenmühle combines a castle rock, the former castle grounds, half-timbered houses, and the preserved historic brewery complex. The Saxon Brewery Museum opened in 2002 following restoration.

Culture and History
The Rechenberg Saxon Brewery Museum presents the brewery’s 450-year history. A visit can combine a guided tour of the brewery facilities with a beer tasting in the vaulted cellars of the former malt house.
The Clausnitz Local History House presents everyday life and work around 1880 and thereafter. On display are hay and straw plaiting, historic clothing, toys, musical instruments, and changing exhibitions. The permanent exhibition “Journey into the Past” illustrates the everyday life of ancestors up to around 1880 during tours through historic rooms.
The Rechenberg-Bienenmühle Raftsmen’s House was reconstructed as a museum after the 2002 flood.

The Öko-Bad swimming facility in Rechenberg-Bienenmühle has a 50-meter pool, a non-swimmer pool and a children’s pool, is designed to be accessible, and features a 600-square-meter sunbathing lawn. It also has a playground, table tennis, outdoor chess, volleyball, a climbing rock, and a snack bar.
Getting Around
The Kammweg trail runs through Holzhau and Rechenberg-Bienenmühle, then continues along the Saydaer Weg toward Sayda. On a route between Freiberg and Holzhau, the Freiberger Eisenbahn shuttle can be used for the return journey to Freiberg.
