The second stage of the Ecumenical Pilgrimage Route passes through Kubschütz, Baschütz, and Jenkwitz and reaches Bautzen after 25.6 kilometers.

Kubschütz has a railway stop and access to Litten/Bautzen regional airfield. The municipality is also described as having nearby access to the A4 motorway and a connection to Federal Highway 6.
