Königshain: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Königshain can continue searching for accommodation afterwards. The Königshain palace complex combines a Baroque palace, a Renaissance palace and Steinstock in a compact ensemble representing several periods of the town’s history. The Renaissance palace is a partially restored Renaissance moated castle. Steinstock is considered the origin of the hunting lodge and the oldest Renaissance building in the surrounding area. The ensemble of the New Palace is described as being of supraregional significance.

Culture

Getting Around

Königshain is located directly on the A4 motorway between Bautzen and Görlitz. Visitors arriving from Dresden should take the Niederseifersdorf exit. Day visitors can park at the palace, the church, the municipal administration building and in the car parks at Hochstein. Bus 145 provides public transport access to the Steinbruchweg area from Görlitz and Weißenberg. The section of the Way of St. James from Görlitz via Weißenberg to Bautzen, as well as the section of the European long-distance hiking trail E10 from Niesky to Löbau, leads directly over Hochstein.
