Culture

The Schäplitz community center houses a local heritage room with approximately 200 square meters of exhibition space dedicated to rural life. The exhibits include historic household items and clothing, as well as an old classroom. The community center also includes an approximately 800-square-meter farm garden in the Altmark style, featuring flower beds, medicinal and culinary plants, regional vegetables, grain, potatoes, and turnips.

The community center also hosts project days for children and school groups under the motto “Living as in days gone by.” Visitors can request a small snack.
